Agraria is a nonprofit working toward Bioregional Regeneration in the Miami Valley of Ohio. At our 138-acre farm in Yellow Springs and as bioregional partners, we research, demonstrate, and teach practices to restore the health of soil and ecosystems, heal our relationship with the land, and grow just and equitable food systems.
Bioregion Description:
Our bioregion is the upper and central Miami Valley of Ohio, an area which includes portions of the Great and Little Miami River watersheds. According to One Earth, this bioregion is known as the Interior Plateau US Hardwood Forests of the Northeast American Forests subrealm, and is dominated by broadleaf forests.
