Focus:
The mission of Home Earth Alliance is to educate & inspire people to more mindfully steward outdoor spaces to support biodiversity, mitigate climate change, and promote environmental justice. Our IMAGINE Native Plant Farm was launched to further that mission and meet the growing demand for native plants & seeds for public & private lands and urban areas in the greater Capital Region of NYS. In short, we educate and grow!
Bioregion Description:
Our bioregion is the Upper Hudson Valley and the highlands and plateaus reaching from Albany east to the Massachusetts border, north to Saratoga, west to Amsterdam, and south to Kingston – about a 30 – 40 mile radius encompassing EPA ecoregions 59i, 83f, 60a, 58x and 58ag. The Upper Hudson River watershed and surrounding mountain ranges define this area, as do the four major population centers: Albany, Troy, Saratoga, and Schenectady.
