Focus:

Full-time teaching position at Aomori University, a small private university located in northern Japan. Based on the idea of bioregionalism, I pursue interdisciplinary/integrative studies, University-community partnerships, and Embodied learning.

Bioregion Description:

Located on the northern tip of Honshu (the main island), Aomori prefecture is an ecologically/culturally rich area. Because of its geographical location, surrounded by the Sea of Japan, the Tsugaru Strait and the Pacific Ocean. Aomori is known as the snowiest place on Earth.
