Devolutionary Notes, by Michael Zwerin

Originally published by Planet Drum in 1980. The book, with an introduction by Peter Berg, raised the questions: Is devolution like revolution? Will the new countries lean to the left, the right, or a completely new direction? Are they narrowly traditionalist? Or do they present a new vision of cultural diversity? Follow Zwerin’s storytelling to discover a journey from states to nations. (Zwerin was a jazz musician, journalist and author of  A Case for the Balkanization of Practically Everyone.)

Only available as a xerox copy.
