Focus:

International and inter-disciplinary network for the promotion of bioregional thinking and practices. The group I particularly fueled by the “researchers in action” scholars and activists group gathered under the academic Research Unity “Urban Bioregion Project” – of the University of Florence.

Bioregion Description:

We operate in many bioregional contexts and address manifold issues (energy, local food systems, settlements design, etc. at many levels). The Florence University group particularly paid attention to the construction of the Florence metro-region transition scenarios.
