Focus:
I’m a researcher and educator. I work with Indigenous/local communities to develop place-based learning experiences, and I organize and attend public events to bring awareness and services for bioregional regeneration.
Bioregion Description:
I live in Chengdu, within China’s southwestern mountains at the eastern border of the Tibetan Plateau. It’s part of the upper stream of the Yangtze river, but the city itself is in Sichuan Basin. The city is also famous for Dujiangyan, a 2000-year-old irrigation system that’s still in use today.
