Focus:
The ReHuman School, led by Diné scholar Dr. Lyla June Johnston, is an online school mobilizing humanity towards biocultural restoration–in our backyards and beyond. We offer Indigenous-led courses for international, intergenerational audiences, empowering them to make localized, regenerative actions in service to Mother Earth. We welcome beginners and lifelong learners alike, and teach transformative courses, like: “Becoming a Regenerative Human,” “Building Bridges with Indigenous Communities,” “Food Warriors: Localizing Food Systems 101,” “Indigenous Perspectives on AI,” and more. All courses are pay-what-you-wish and sliding scale, and NO ONE is turned away for lack of funds.
Bioregion Description:
As an international online school, we focus on numerous bioregions and watersheds. Though, our leadership and foundations honor the Colorado Plateau Shrublands bioregion across current Diné lands (Navajo reservation) and the Four Corners region. Attached below is a map with pins placed by a few hundred of our 4,000 total students, representing our worldwide connection.
